Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin diploma is dedicated to the foundation of Nizhny Novgorod at the confluence of the Oka and Volga in 1221 by Yuri II of Vladimir, protected by earthwork and wooden fortifications - deep ditches and high ramparts surrounding the city.
The diploma is awarded for QSO contacts (observations) of any modulation in HF and VHF with radio amateurs of Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod region - you need to score at least 1,221 points. Each QSO gives 50 points (HF) and 300 points (VHF). On the special activity activity days the points are doubled. All points are summed up. Repeats in different bands with different type of radio signals are allowed.
Radio contacts are counted from 01.01.2010.
Using station R73ASP (Radio 73 Alexander Stepanovich Popov) gives 300 points for Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin diploma.
